First day of summer
i don't know what exactly i am going to do today. it is pretty windy here and well, the sun isn't looking too happy. but, besides that maybe i will go to the beach just to celebrate? This weekend is suppossed to be nice and we are having Berry dairy days here in Burlington. so just a short trek to get the famous strawberry shortcakes and a little look into the history of this area. it's great we have so many local farms, that i don't even have to go to the store to get produce , if i don't want to. so for all go celebrate, this lovely day, whatever the weather permits to you! I'm up at me sis' right now and to celebrate summer so far I have laid out in the sweet sweet sun and listened to awesome tunes while drinking some crisp cool water. Later I plan to grill awesome foodage, get me drink on....hula hoop and probably talk me nephews into playin me hand drums...! yay! first day of summer! woo-hoo!
The weather here got just awful tonight. It was really hot and humid all day then all of a sudden the sky exploded and it started raining and blowing like crazy, even hailed a little bit. And i of course was stuck driving in it. But even so, i am glad that it is officially summer.
so the weather did turn sunny here and it beautiful. i went to the beach had coffee and donuts with crisy at causland park, bruce loved it! and well, it's a pretty good damn day! love you all!!!
oh yeah...and I lit some sparklers...! it was awesome. Except they were crazy weird sparklers that didnt have that little metal thing in it to keep the ashes on so when you swing them around, parts of fire shoot everywhere and almost caught the grass on fire. so we had to go out the sidewalk! It was still hella fun though!
